Das maximale Leistungsvolumen in dieser Region betragt in Summe rund 2 000 000 Fahrplankilometer pro Jahr; dieses Leitungsvolumen kann durch mehrere Abrufe aus der Rahmenvereinbarung beauftragt werden. Es handelt sich bei einem Anrufsammeltaxi um Bedarfsverkehr. Das bedeutet, dass das Verkehrsmittel nur dann in Betrieb gesetzt wird, wenn mindestens ein konkreter Fahrtwunsch vorliegt. Dienstleistungen im Rahmen des Regiotaxes werden gemass Gelegenheitsverkehrs-Gesetz 1996 erbracht.
