Dabei sollen aufbauend auf aktuellen Digitalisierungsprojekten der OBB-Infrastruktur AG und in enger Abstimmung mit den Entwicklungsaktivitaten der digitalen automatischen Kupplung (DAK) alle Potentiale zur Vollautomatisierung der Verschubknoten verfolgt werden, sowie auch die optimale technische Unterstutzung fur den multifunktionalen Verschubleiter in der Flachenbedienung. Mit dem gegenstandlichen F&E-Projekt werden bis 2031 bei erfolgreicher Umsetzung durch Demonstrationsaktivitaten abgesicherte Ergebnisse erarbeitet, die einen signifikanten Beitrag zur Automatisierung & Digitalisierung und somit zur Steigerung von Kapazitat, Qualitat und Produktivitat im Verschub und in der Zugvorbereitung aber auch im Guterverkehr allgemein leisten.
