De opdracht bestaat uit twee delen: Deel 1: Preparatie en restauratie van de ontdekte beenderen: - Preparatie van fossielen met klassieke technieken: micropercuteur, microzandstraler, micrograveerder, ... - Consolidatie en verlijming van gebroken, gebarsten of verzwakte delen met behulp van lijm, gips of kunstharsen, ... Restauraties moeten zoveel mogelijk omkeerbaar zijn zonder risico op het beschadigen van de oorspronkelijke delen van de fossielen. Deel 2: Opnieuw samenstellen van ontbrekende beenderen of delen van beenderen: - Door anatomische sculptuur en/of gieten of afdrukken op andere vergelijkbare specimens. - Reparatie van patina-leemtes met Dalgan, oxides (tinten) of verven.
