Det nye vandhus skal indeholde et 25 meter stalbassin med flest mulige baner, omklaedningsfaciliteter samt et eller flere mindre varme bassiner til bl.a. traening, leg og familier. Vandhuset vil sammen med den renoverede produktionshal pa 2 500 kvadratmeter blive krumtappen i det nye Panteromrade. Ligesom alt andet pa Panteren skal det nye vandhus skabes med standardiserede materialer, som vaegter funktionalitet og effektivitet for flest mulige brugergrupper. Vordingborg Kommune onsker at skabe et multifunktionelt sted som skal kunne tilpasse skiftende behov pa kort og langt sigt. Man onsker, at omradet opfylder en bred vifte af brugeres behov, ligesom man vil skabe vide rammer for nytaenkning i forhold til kultur, idraet, uddannelse og erhverv.
