Byggegrunden, der skraner 12 meter ned i nordostlig retning mod Roskilde Fjord, udgor ca. 40.100 m2 og byggeri ca. 20.714 m2. Byggeriet rummer overordnet 126 sengestuer fordelt pa 4 sengeenheder. Centralt beliggende i direkte forlaengelse af Tofteparken placeres en ankomstbygning og pa begge sider af denne grupperes to sengeenheder mod nord og to sengeenheder mod syd. Mellem disse etableres en stor aktivitetshave der omkranses af indendors forbindelsesgang mod ost og perimetermur mod vest. I bade ankomstbygning og sengeenhederne etableres lukkede gardhaver for patienter og personale. For at sikre konkurrence og brug af relevante kompetencer er udbuddet opdelt i 16 delentrepriser, idet delentreprise nr. 1-15 er omfattet af dette udbud, mens delentreprise nr. 16 udbydes saerskilt som et udbud med forhandling.Awards
