Rammeaftalerne udformes saledes, at ordregiver i nogle tilfaelde tildeler konkrete opgaver til et arkitektfirma som totalradgiver fra arkitektrammeaftalerne og tildeler underadgiveropgaven til et ingeniorfirma fra ingeniorrammeaftalerne, og i nogle tilfaelde omvendt. Rammeaftalerne skal anvendes til radgivning i forbindelse med gennemforelse af byggeopgaver, savel nybyggeri som renoveringsopgaver samt ved udarbejdelse af konkurrenceprojekter ved bygherrekonkurrencer. Fordelingstallene er anfort nedenfor under pkt. V. betegnelse.
