On the basis of this scenario the objective is to design, plan, conduct and evaluate specific exercises for civil protection modules/TAST and EUCPT in the civil protection field. Specific needs are, among others, the work in an international environment (including international guidelines), interoperability, self-sufficiency, communication issues and exchange of information about equipment and command structures. Lessons learnt from the exercises shall be immediately integrated into the following exercises. The exercises shall enhance operational cooperation between the participating States' modules/TAST as well as the EUCPT and also create a possibility to test the coordination of EU civil protection assistance in accordance with rules and regulations. The exchange of information of different equipment and of information of command structures and communication tools is also an important point. Besides, special attention has to be given to the international environment of the mechanism intervention, e.g. the interactions of modules/TAST, EUCPT, humanitarian and other relevant international actors.Awards
