The service strategy is to continue the service of the childcare vouchers as the current contract is due to expire in December 2012, as well as cycle to work scheme and the possibility of taking up the options of other salary sacrifice schemes. The option of a framework agreement will be utilised to enable the tenderers to bid for individual schemes. The framework agreement will be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. The Council reserve the right to award the contract to one or more contractors. The Council may benefit from one company offering discounts if they are able to supply all 3 lots. The framework agreement will be split into 3 lots - Lot 1 - Childcare voucher scheme Lot 2 - Cycle to work scheme Lot 3 - Miscellaneous Salary Sacrifice Schemes A single provider is envisaged for Lots 1 and 2. or Lot 3, All firms meeting the criteria will be accepted onto the framework for the service options they can supply. A mini competition will be used as and when the need for such service arise.Awards
