Further information is provided within the Specification of the ITT. The intention is to create framework arrangements, for the supply and the installation of new stair lifts (straight and curved), and new vertical through floor lifts with the intention that these are to be provided with full warranty and support service effective for 5 - 10 years from installation of each product. The determination of the length of warranty is to be at the selection of the purchaser at point of call off under the Framework Agreement. The product supplies are Lots 1 and 3 Secondly some of the Participating Authorities are interested in procuring additional maintenance and repair services for a contractor to look after the existing/used stock of stair lifts already installed with Users in its borough area. The maintenance of fleet assets are Lots 2 and 4. The aim of the framework arrangement is also to facilitate provision for the re-cycling (removal, storage, refurbishment and re-use) of stair lifts and their maintenance (repair and service). It is intended that the framework agreement would be accessed by seven West London Boroughs (Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (who make up the West London Housing Partnership), and two of the South East London Partnership boroughs: London Borough of Bromley and Royal Borough of Greenwich, and / or the arms length management organisation and housing associations of the foregoing. The Services have been divided into the following work packages detailed in the Invitation to Tender documentation: Lot 1 - Supply and Install of new and recycled Stair Lifts. Lot 2 - Maintenance and Repair of a fleet of Stair Lifts. Lot 3 - Supply and Install of new and recycled Through-Floor Lifts. Lot 4 - Maintenance and Repair of a fleet of Through-Floor Lifts.Awards
