Registered Provider and ALMO members: The names and addresses of the current members of EEM (at the date this Contract Notice is posted) are set out at VI.3. The Authorised Users of the Framework Agreement being advertised by publication of this Contract Notice (in addition to EEM) are set out at section VI.3 of this Contract Notice. The requirement being procured under this Contract Notice comprises - the supply of LED Lighting. The type of properties and stock comprised in the requirement included in the procurement under this Contract Notice includes Homes and assets that are affordable, rented, intermediate market rent or shared equity housing stock or stock for specialist housing groups (e.g. care homes, student housing, supported housing, hostels) and other stock (e.g. offices, leisure facilities, day centres, and other public non-housing buildings owned, managed or maintained by the authorised user). The organisations listed in section VI.3 as Authorised Users of the Framework Agreement to be awarded at conclusion of the procurement exercise begun by publication of this Contract Notice have requirements predominately within the East Midlands as that region is described at www.direct.gov.uk/en/Dl1/Directories/Local councils/index.htm. However, organisations which are Authorised Users in other parts of the East Midlands region may also access and use the Framework Agreement to be awarded at conclusion of the procurement exercise begun by publication of this Contract Notice as described in VI.3. EEM has a requirement for the supply of LED lighting and is looking to appoint up to six Manufacturers or Suppliers onto the Framework. The Framework is divided into two Lots to allow potential providers to bid for one or both Lots. It is anticipated that up to three Manufacturers or Suppliers will be appointed on to each Lot. The Lots are allocated as follows. 1. Total solution design service for specific schemes 2. Off the shelf retro fit and new fit products As part of the evaluation samples of light fittings will be required from the shortlisted tenderers. In case your company is shortlisted it is imperative that the samples are available for delivery by 18.12.2013. We are anticipating that we will carry out the assessment 6.1.2014. Any company that does not provide samples before the assessment date will be rejected. The samples required are: -- the surfaced mounted light fitting that has been quoted for use on the Victoria Centre lighting scheme, -- a random selection of the fluorescent light fittings from Part C2 - Pricing Schedule Lot 2. During the price evaluation any tender where the submitted price is exceptionally low, i.e. 20 % (or more) lower than the next lowest price, shall be requested to explain the basis of its tender price. If the explanation is not considered adequate the tender may be rejected.Awards
