Buying entity๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡บ Potentially all Scottish local authorities Buying unitnot reported Publication date2011-10-26 Contest statusnot reported DescriptionLink Group Limited ('Link') is seeking to establish a framework of main building contractors who will work with (1) link and other social registered landlords within the link group, operating in Scotland; any Council constituted under Section 2 of the Local Government Ect (Scotland) Act 1994 and its statutory sucessors ("Council") and (3) any registered social landlord registered with the Scottish Housing Regulator under the Housing Act (Scotland) 2001 as of the date of submission of this notice. (The Public Register of Social Landlords) can be accessed by the following link: http://www.esystems.scottishhousingregulator.gov.uk/reg_pub_dsp.home) ("RSL") The Scotland wide framework will be for a term of 4 years with up to 12 members. The framework will cover design and build and / or the construction of residential and other non housing building projects. The framework is being procured by link but may be used by: (1) subsidiaries within link, (2) any Council and (3) any RSL. Call off's from the framework will generally be via competitive process to identify the most economically advantageous main building contractor on a case by case basis. A maximum of 6 main building contractors may be selected to mini tender. Link may enter in to negotiations will one supplier where (a) the main contractor is the owner of the land Link wishes to build upon (b) where the supplier requires Link to discharge Section 75 obligations and (c) where is it considered economically advantageous.
