It is envisaged that the software to be provided will be either off the shelf software or software packages which are not bespoke but may require an element of services such as services around the configuration of software and the deployment and maintanance of software. Some software may be bought as services. The successful bidder will be required to provide expertise to Boards on third parties software licencing, economic purchasing and will be required to run a help desk to handle purchase enquiries and purchase orders from Boards. They will also be required to interface with the Scottish Public Sector's eProcurement processes.
