UV-light disinfection has been identified as an efficient method of disinfection, and UV disinfection robots have already been successfully used in hospitals. The Commission will purchase up to 200 easy-to-use self-driving UV-disinfection robots capable of destroying bacteria, viruses and other harmful microbes in order for them to be deployed in hospitals and used for at least 12 months.Awards
