Kuljetuksen ja ajoneuvojen tulee tayttaa elintarvikkeiden kuljetuksesta annettujen lakien ja asetusten (Elintarvikelaki 2006) mukaiset vaatimukset. Palvelun tarjoajan on esitettava kuljetusten hyvaksytty omavalvontasuunnitelma. Ajoneuvoissa ei saa kuljettaa ruokakuljetusten aikana muuta kuin elintarvikkeita.
