Das Gebaude stammt aus dem Jahr 1895 und wurde fur den Betrieb von elektrischen Schaltanlagen errichtet. Seit 1996 ist das Gebaude ungenutzt. Das Gebaude besitzt ein Kellergeschoss, Erdgeschoss und 6 Obergeschosse (3.- 6. OG im Abspannturm). Das oberste Geschoss befindet sich ca. 23 m uber Gelande. Das Gebaude ist uberwiegend aus massivem Vollziegelmauerwerk hergestellt, die Decken wurden aus Stahlbeton gefertigt. Das Gelande liegt zwischen der Konneritzstrasse, der Schweriner Strasse, dem Wettiner Platz, der Alfred-Althus Strasse und der Ehrlichstrasse. Die Arbeiten erfolgen parallel zu Leistungen anderer Baugewerke auf dem Gelande.Awards
