Sie ist als Schwerpunktschule eingestuft. Auf dem Grundstuck befinden sich noch die ehemalige Hauptschule und eine Sporthalle, erbaut im Jahr 1971. Die ehemalige Hauptschule wurde in Teilen bereits umgenutzt. Im EG befindet sich ein Kindergarten, im 1. OG befindet sich der Kinderhort. Im Rahmen des Projektes sollen sowohl die Grundschule als auch die Sporthalle saniert werden.
