Eigentumer des Grundstucks ist das Universitatsklinikum Aachen (UKA).Die Nutzung des Neubaus umfasst die stationare und ambulante Behandlung und Pflege psychisch und psychosomatisch erkrankter Kinder und Jugendlicher. Im Erdgeschoss im Bauteil A und B ist der auch von ambulanten Patienten starker frequentierte Bereich der Institutsambulanz angeordnet. Im Bauteil C sollen die Dienstraume unter anderem fur Forschung sowie 2 Bereitschaftsraume angeordnet sein. Im Obergeschoss liegen die Pflegewohngruppen (Stationen) fur die stationar untergebrachten Patienten. Jede der 3 Stationen umfasst je maximal 12 bis 14 Platze. Es handelt sich also um ein Multifunktionales Gebaude, das zahlreichen unterschiedlichen Nutzeranforderungen gerecht werden muss.Awards
