Den daraus resultierenden hohen Anforderungen an den Schienenpersonennahverkehr wird mit der Einfuhrung des neuen Rhein-Ruhr-Express (RRX) Rechnung getragen, der auf der Achse Koln - Dusseldorf - Duisburg - Essen - Bochum - Dortmund - (Hamm) bis zu viermal pro Stunde und Richtung im integralen Taktfahrplan angeboten werden soll. Hierfur sind diverse Massnahmen zur Ertuchtigung, zum Ausbau und zur Neuerstellung der Verkehrsanlagen erforderlich, um im gesamten Planungsbereich die durchgangige Viergleisigkeit hergestellt. Der hier behandelte Streckenabschnitt ist ein Teilstuck des RRX. Die hiermit ausgeschriebenen Bau-Leistungen umfassen die Kabel-Tiefbauarbeiten sowie Kabelverlegearbeiten zur Ertuchtigung der Hauptkabeltrasse als Vorabmassnahme der Anpassung der Verkehrsanlage.Awards
