Mit dem Joint Lab fiT wird ein Ausbau der Zusammenarbeit mit der Medizinischen Fakultat der RWTH Aachen angestrebt. Das fiT soll die Lucke zwischen der biomedizinischen Forschung und dem Einsatz neuer Materialien fur die Behandlung von Patienten schliessen. Forschende Arzte sollen die Moglichkeit erhalten in eigener Initiativeden Nachweis neuartiger Therapien zu erbringen. Fur das fiT soll ein Gebaude mit GMP/GLP konformen Laboren (inkl. Reinraume) als Erweiterung des bestehenden Instituts errichtet werden. Basierend auf einer Machbarkeitsstudie und einer ersten Bedarfsermittlung wurden die Kosten geschatzt auf 11,5 Mio. EUR netto fur die KG 200-600. Es ist beabsichtigt, einen Fachplaner fur die mit folgenden Leistungen stufenweise zu beauftragen: Fachplaner ALG 4-6, gem. SS55 HOAI, LPH 1-9Awards
