Die Firewalls sollen parallel zur vorhandenen Infrastruktur aufgebaut werden. Alle Firewalls mussen mindestens einen Datendurchsatz von 100Gbit/s im Paketfiltermodus und mindestens 20Gbit/s mit eingeschaltetem IPS und AV Protection leisten. Ausserdem mussen alle Firewalls uber ein gemeinsames, zentrales Management administrierbar sein. Das Angebot muss das zentrale Management enthalten. Im Clusterbetrieb muss die Firewall zwingend eine Zero-Downtime anbieten (auch fur Major-Releases).Ausserdem sind die Kosten fur alle notigen Lizenzen, Subscriptions (IPS, NGFW, etc.) und dem Support fur eine Laufzeit fur die nachsten 5 Jahre mit anzugeben. Die 5 Jahre Laufzeit beginnen mit der Auslieferung der Hardware und enden automatisch nach Ablauf der 5 Jahre.
