Nach dem Kriegsende wurde es von den sowjetischen Streitkraften genutzt. Im Mai 1994 endet die militarische Nutzung des Gelandes und im Jahr 1995 gab es eine Zielplanung zur Umgestaltung in ein Behordenzentrum des Landes Brandenburg. Ab dem Jahr 2000 nutzte das Gebaude das Landeskriminalamt (LKA) Brandenburg. Beim LKA in Eberswalde in der Abteilung Cybercrime wird ein separater Niederspannungshausanschluss aus dem Versorgungsnetz benotigt. Zusatzlich ist es erforderlich fur diesen Bereich eine Unterbrechungsfreiespannungsversorgung (USV) zu planen. Im Jahr 2015 wurde hierzu eine Machbarkeitsstudie erarbeitet.
