Das RPIS umfasst die vier im Folgenden genannten Funktionsbereiche.Die Entwicklung des ersten Moduls (Koordination der Schiffsanlaufe) wurde separat ausgeschrieben. Im Mai 2015 wird das RPIS mit dem ersten Modul in Betrieb genommen.Leistungsgegenstand dieser Ausschreibung ist die Entwicklung und Einfuhrung der hieran anschliessenden RPIS-Module 2 (Containerdatenverwaltung), 3 (Zollfunktionalitaten) und 4 (Transportborse).
