Derzeit werden etwa 1 800 Tumorpatienten, etwa 1 800 Patienten mit gutartigen Erkrankungen und etwa 3 500 Patienten in der Tumornachsorge versorgt. 90 % der oben genannten Patienten mit bosartigen Erkrankungen werden etwa gleich verteilt an den vorhandenen drei Siemens-Linearbeschleunigern behandelt. Die Klinik und Poliklinik fur Strahlentherapie der Universitatsmedizin Rostock plant im Zeitraum 2017 - 2019 die Erneuerung aller drei vorhandenen Siemens-Linearbeschleuniger. Die neu zu beschaffenden Systeme sollen alle klinischen Fragestellungen der modernen Strahlentherapie abdecken und eine hochwertige Patientenversorgung fur die nachsten 10 -15 Jahre auch bei steigenden Patientenzahlen ermoglichen.Awards
