Durch sukzessive Aufwertung, Umgestaltung und Erneuerung des kompletten offentlichen Raums im Kernbereich der Stadt soll den Anspruchen an eine urbane Stadtmitte gerecht und eine nachhaltige Belebung erreicht werden. Die Stadt Viernheim lobte fur die beschriebene Massnahme einen offenen einstufigen landschaftsplanerischen Realisierungswettbewerb nach den Regeln der RPW mit anschliessenden Verhandlungsverfahren nach der Verdingungsordnung fur freiberufliche Leistungen (VOF) aus. Nach dem Wettbewerb wurde mit den drei Preistragern ein Verhandlungsverfahren gefuhrt. Der Auftragnehmer wurde mit den Leistungen der Freianlagen, Verkehrsanalgen und Ingenieurbauwerke beauftragt (LPH 2-9).Awards
