The business and implementation plans are to enable the municipalities to solicit national and international funding to advance the implementation of alternative waste treatment interventions identified. The detailed pre-feasibility study is to be undertaken by a service provider of a multi-disciplinary team of experts with financial, legal, technical, climate change and institutional expertise in the areas of solid waste management, municipal solid waste management and alternative/advanced waste treatment.
