Bezuglich der Zellchemie werden keine Einschrankungen gemacht.Das BSS soll im Forschungszentrum Julich GmbH, Wilhelm-Johnen-Strasse, 52428 Julich, installiert und betrieben werden.Das BSS wird zur Betriebsoptimierung des LLEC einsetzen.In diesem Rahmen wird das BSS in das Mittelspannungsnetz des AG integriert, um dort dem Ausgleich zwischen erneuerbarer Erzeugung und Verbrauch auf minutlicher bis stundlicher Basis zu dienen und gleichzeitig dient es als Testplattform fur verschiedene Netzanwendungen.
