Sie stellen derzeit ein hohes verkehrliches und wirtschaftliches Gefahrenpotenzial dar und mussen schnellstmoglich ersetzt werden. Ein zugiges und geordnetes Vorgehen zum Ersatz dieser Bauwerke zur Gewahrleistung der Verkehrssicherheit und der Aufrechterhaltung der Infrastruktur ist daher unumganglich. Der Bau erfolgt unter Verkehr in mehreren Bauphasen. Weitere Flankierende Massnahmen werden als Vorabmassnahme durchgefuhrt. Die Projektdauer betragt ca. 6 Jahre, die Bau und -nebenkostenkosten etwa 137 000 000 EUR brutto (Preisstand 2015). Hinzu kommt der geplante sechsstreifige Ausbau der Sudwesttangente (Baulast Stadt Nurnberg) zwischen Anschlussstelle Hafen - Ost und Kreuz Hafen (Sudwesttangente / Frankenschnellweg) mit etwa 2 500 000 EUR.
