Der Neubau besteht aus einem kompakten 7-geschossigen polygonalen Institutsbaukorper mit teilweise 2 Untergeschossen, welcher sich in einem ausreichenden Abstand zum Schroderstift befindet und an die Nordseite des Geomatikums direkt anschliesst. Auf Hohe der Einmundung ,,Ellenbogen" ist der Baukorper um 2 Geschosse reduziert, wodurch der Gesamtbaukorper optisch in 2 Bauteile aufgeteilt wird. Der ostlich gelegene Baukorper an der Strassenkreuzung dient als Haupteingangsbau mit gebaudehohem Atrium zur Haupterschliessung und enthalt uberwiegend Administration, Buroraume, sowie auch Cafeteria und Vorlesungsraume. Der westliche, kompakte und orthogonale Baukorper, welcher auch zum Teil 2 Untergeschosse besitzt, enthalt uberwiegend Labor- und Forschungsraume.Awards
