Dieser wird hauptsachlich im sogenannten Dual-Fuel Verfahren betrieben. Dabei wird ein Dieselzundstrahl zur Entzundung einer homogenen Gasladung im Brennraum genutzt. Die Betriebseigenschaften hangen dabei in besonderem Masse von der zur Verfugung stehenden Gasqualitat ab. Im Zuge der bereits durchgefuhrten Motorenversuche konnte eine schwankende Gasqualitat des offentlichen Gasversorgungsnetzes festgestellt werden. Daraus ergibt sich die Forderung die Gaseigenschaften uber einen langeren Zeitraum konstant halten zu konnen. Zum anderen ist beabsichtigt die Auswirkungen sogenannter Gut- und Schlechtgaseigenschaften auf den Verbrennungsprozess zu untersuchen. Dabei sollen weltweit verfugbare Brenngase in Hinblick auf Methanzahl (MZ) und Heizwert (Hu) auf Basis des uber das offentliche Netz verfugbaren Erdgases nachgebildet werden.Awards
