Der Haupteingang der Gedenkstatte liegt an der Genslerstrasse 66 in 13055 Berlin-Hohenschonhausen. Derzeitiger Nutzer ist die Stiftung Gedenkstatte Berlin- Hohenschonhausen. Die Erschliessung des Gesamtkomplexes erfolgt ausschliesslich uber das Haupttor in der Genslerstrasse. Innerhalb des 2. Bauabschnittes werden die verbleibenden Flachen in den folgenden Bauteilen bearbeitet: Altbau (AB), Neubau (NB), Haftkrankenhaus (HK), Werkstattbereich (WB), Schleuse, Freigangzellen (FZ). Die Flachen des 2. Bauabschnittes sollen bei laufendem Betrieb hergerichtet werden. Ziel ist die Herstellung der Barrierefreiheit fur Besucher, Verbesserung des Brandschutzes, Schutzen und erhalten von denkmalgeschutzten Bauteilen und Oberflachen.Awards
