Das Gebaude wurde 1999 eroffnet und 2011 bereits einmal erweitert. Es befindet sich in zentraler Lage auf dem Campus des UKM. Nordlich schliesst der Flachbau des Zentralgebaudes an und westlich befindet sich das Zentrum fur Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde (ZMK). Es beinhaltet ein ebenerdig zu erreichendes Untergeschoss, in welchem die Anlieferung, Ver- und Entsorgungsflachen, Technikflachen und die Personalumkleiden verortet sind. Daruber sind vier weitere Geschosse angeordnet mit den Nutzungen einer KMT-Ambulanz und einem Labor im EG, Pflegestationen im 1. und 3. OG und Technikflachen im 2. OG. Aufgrund der Hanglage ist das Erdgeschoss auch ebenerdig zu erreichen. Geplant ist ein Anbau, der in etwa eine Verdopplung der bereits vorhandenen Kubatur bedeutet.Awards
