Um nachhaltige biookonomische Produktionssysteme zu etablieren, ist ein umfassendes Verstandnis des Prozesses der Biogasproduktion unter Einbeziehung aller technischer, chemischer und mikrobiologischer Parameter von grosser Bedeutung. Da der anaerobe Abbau von Biomasse zu Biogas ausschliesslich von Mikroorganismen durchgefuhrt wird, kann dieses Ziel nur erreicht werden, wenn die systemrelevanten Mikroorganismen hinsichtlich ihrer Funktionen (Stoffwechselleistung und Okologie) sowie die Reaktion der vorkommenden Mikrobiome auf variierende Managementmassnahmen einschliesslich der Sensitivitat, der Resilienz bzw.
