Der Landschaftspark beinhaltet ein vielgestaltiges Gewassersystem, welches aus grosseren Wasser!flachen (Worlitzer See, Grosses und Kleines Wallloch) und kunstlich angelegten Kanalen besteht.Das Gewassersystem der Worlitzer Anlagen ist ein pragendes gestalterisches Element und damit ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Denkmals, aber auch ein wichtiger Teil der touristischen Erschliessung und Erlebbarkeit. Es wird durch einen regulierten Anstau erhalten und wahrend der Sommermonate durch den Gondel- und Fahr!verkehr touristisch genutzt. Der Worlitzer Park liegt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet Mittlere Elbe. Neben dem Besucher!betrieb sind bei der Vorbereitung der Instandsetzungsmassnahmen die Vorgaben des Naturschutz-, Bodenschutz- und Wasserrechtes zu berucksichtigen. Mit dem Vorhaben ,,Arbeitsteil 1, Gewasserinstandsetzungen" soll die nachhaltige Sanierung der Uferbefestigungen an den Gewassern im Worlitzer Park erfolgen.Awards
