Die Rennschlittenbahn wurde 1971 als kunstlich vereisbarer Eiskanal eingeweiht. Inzwischen mehrfach umgebaut, betragt heute die Gesamtlange 1 354,5 m. Bei einem Hohenunterschied von fast 100 m werden insgesamt 15 Kurven durchfahren. Es sollen bestehende bauliche und technische Anlagen uberarbeitet und Gebaude erweitert werden. Dies betrifft u. a. die Erneuerung von technischen Anlagen,Beleuchtung und Sonnensegeln; die Uberdachung einzelner Kurven; die Erweiterung der Starthauser; die optische Sanierung der Freianlagen sowie den Neubau von Verkehrsanlagen. Es wird von Baukosten (ohne Baunebenkosten) von ca. 20 845 000,00 EUR brutto ausgegangen. Die Bauausfuhrung findet voraussichtlich in den Jahren 2020 und 2021 statt.Awards
