Die vom BMVI im Rahmen der Mobilitats- und Kraftstoffstrategie geforderte Studie ,,Fahrradparken an Bahnhofen Handlungsempfehlungen fur den flachendeckenden Ausbau der intermodalen Verknupfung von Fahrrad und Bahn" ergab einen Bedarf von 1,5 Mio. Fahrradabstellmoglichkeiter an deutschen Bahnhofen und kam zu dem Schluss, dass die Kommunen als Schlusselakteure betrachtet und unterstutzt werden mussen.Neben der Frage der Finanzierung bzw. der Nutzung vorhandener Fordermoglichkeiten, welche in der Verantwortung der Kommunal- bzw. Landesebene liegen, besteht bei kommunalen Akteuren insbesondere ein grosser Informationsbedarf. Diese mussen zur Schaffung von bahnhofsnahen Radabstellanlagen/Fahrradparkhauser beispielsweise uber bauliche und gestalterische Umsetzungsmoglichkeiten, verschiedene Betreiberkonzepte sowie uber eigentums- oder genehmigungsrechtliche Fragestellungen informiert werden.Awards
