🇩🇪 Die potentielle Verfugbarkeit eines Quantencomputers hat katastrophale Auswirkungen auf die gesamte praktisch relevante international verwendete asymmetrische Kryptografie (RSA, MOD-P, ECC). Um die aktuelle Gemengelage und den Handlungsbedarf im Blick auf die hypothetische Realisierung eines Quantencomputers und die bereits veranderte NSA- und NIST-Strategie zu identifizieren, sind eine fundierte Einschutzung sowie belastbare Prognosen zum aktuellen Entwicklungsstand bzw. der potentiellen zukunftigen Verfugbarkeit eines kryptografisch relevanten Quantencomputers zu erstellen. D. h. eines Quantencomputers mit genugend Kapazitat, um eine Gefahrdung fur die gegenwartig verwendete RSA-, MOD-P- und EC-basierte asymmetrische Kryptografie darzustellen und andererseits Implikationen fur die symmetrische Kryptographie zu haben. Diese Einschatzung und Prognosen sollen das BSI dazu befahigen, Handlungsbedarf bezuglich der Entwicklung, Standardisierung und Verbreitung Quantencomputer-resistenter kryptografischer Verfahren festzustellen und ggf. zu intensivieren. Insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund der NSA-Ankundigung bzgl. Post-Quantum Kryptografie in 2015 (s. https://www.iad.gov/iad/programs/iad-initiatives/cnsa-suite.cfm) und den sich damit ergebenden Veranderungen in der NSA-/NIST-/NATO-Policy soll eine Grundlage geschaffen werden, um Implikationen fur die BSI-Policy und somit die Bundeswehr und andere Bedarfstrager im VS-Bereich festzustellen.Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der InformationstechnikEUR 322,4842017-01-28
