The CWRR will run along the southern boundary of Nova Court residential estate, before crossing over the Owenboy River, by means of a 32 m reinfroced concrete river bridge. Current land-use within the CPO lands primarily comprises Greenfield lands; however residential properties and brownfield sites are located in the northern portion of the proposed CWRR route. Pedestrian and traffic lights will be placed at the north, south and central junctions to facilitate the safety of pedestrians and cyclists. The route also crosses the Owenboy River south of Soccer Club Road by means of a new 32 m bridge structrue. The Owenboy River is a narrow estuary running west to east from Carrigaline to Crosshaven. The project also includes the completion of the partially completed Soccer Club Road. The Project also includes the construction of two foul water pump stations.Awards
