The pipes to be laid are ductile iron cement-lined water mains, sleeved house service connections and HDPE pre-roped pipes for fibre-optics. uPVC waste water gravity mains and possibly removal of existing cesspits and connection of private waste water house connections up to building lines is envisaged over a small stretch of the proposed route.
