De nieuwbouw wordt gerealiseerd op de hoek van de Rooseboomstraat en Carel Reinierszkade in Den Haag. Het ontwerp voor het nieuwe kindcentrum geeft met zijn L-vorm ruimte aan een veilig schoolplein en vormt aan de hoek een prominent gezicht met uitzicht op de groene rand rondom de sportvelden. Op deze locatie is thans een andere school gehuisvest, die nieuwbouw krijgt op een andere locatie. Het huidige gebouw aan de Rooseboomstraat 10 wordt gesloopt. De bestaande kelder die nu op de locatie aanwezig is zal gehandhaafd en hergebruikt worden in de nieuwe school. Zie voor nadere informatie de selectieleidraad. De opdracht voor het werk omvat de gedeeltelijke sloopwerkzaamheden (wat wil zeggen: volledige sloop exclusief de bestaande kelderbak), het bouwrijp maken alsmede de bouwkundige, constructieve en installatietechnische werkzaamheden (zowel werktuigbouwkundig als elektrotechnisch) alsmede de terreininrichting. Het werk wordt beschreven in een technisch ontwerp / bestek (met UAV 2012). Het totale programma is ca. 4.224 m2 bvo. Zie de selecteleidraad voor nadere informatie.Awards
