Door het maaien van de watergangen zijn er ook andere positieve effecten waar te nemen anders dan het voldoen aan de leggereis. Deze werkzaamheid doen wij ook om het water schoon en gezond te houden. We maaien bijvoorbeeld niet alles weg bij de 558 are natuurvriendelijke oevers. We willen ook de natuur ruimte geven.
