Daarom is een grondige renovatie nodig. Deze renovatie biedt meteen de gelegenheid het goud en het geld te verplaatsen naar een strategische locatie op een defensieterrein in Zeist. Het pand aan het Frederiksplein wordt duurzaam en toekomstbestendig gerenoveerd. Het inbouwpakket, de gevel en de installaties worden grotendeels vervangen. DNB besteedt de hoofdopdracht in 1 perceel aan (bouwkunde, W-installaties, E-installaties). DNB heeft gekozen voor een zogenaamde bouwteam contractvorm, waarbij de aannemer bij de start van de fase Definitief Ontwerp aansluit bij het ontwerpteam.Zie verder de selectieleidraad, onder de tab 'vragenlijsten'.
