Het pand ligt op het bedrijventerrein ,,Plaspoelpolder". Het RBC is gebouwd in 1986. Het ontwerp is van Van der Meer & Putter architecten. Het overheidsdatacenter zal gerealiseerd worden in de nummers 24 en 26 van het pand. Het overheidsdatacenter (ODC) dient schaalbaar, duurzaam, veilig en flexibel te zijn met een hoge beschikbaarheid. Schaalbaarheid De Rijksgebouwendienst zal het ODC in fases realiseren. In de eerste fase zal voor het ODC de begane grond en de 1e verdieping van het RBC gebruikt gaan worden. De aanvangscapaciteit bedraagt dan: 1. Een bruikbare computervloer van circa 800 tot 1 000 m2 bruto vloer oppervlakte (BVO). 2. Ruimte voor facilitaire en ondersteunende functies, waaronder kantoor- en vergaderplekken (beperkt in omvang). 3. Beschikbare energie voor de ICT-apparatuur van minimaal 2000...Awards
