De Valkbrug moet op ongeveer de huidige locatie worden vernieuwd. De vormgeving van de Valkbrug is een belangrijk onderdeel van de te realiseren kwaliteit van de openbare ruimte op de Lammermarkt. De brug is opgebouwd uit vier separate doch sterk verwante bruggen, twee voor autoverkeer en twee voor voetgangers en fietsers. De globale overspanning bedraagt ongeveer 20 m, de huidige brug wordt momenteel afgesteund op 2 tussensteunpunten. De nieuwe Valkbrug zal aangepaste eisen hebben t.a.v. overspanning, steunpunten en doorvaarthoogte.Awards
