The E39 shall be improved by a new bridge over Sorlandsbanen (railway) and expanded by a crawling lane in Skjebadalen. Construction stage 1 pr. 870-2350 of the project has been completed. This contract is for construction stage 2 from pr. 220 to 870, total 650 m. A new bridge shall be constructed over the railway track, 88,8 m divided between 3 spans (25,6 + 42,45 + 20,75 m) as well as abutment constructions. The total bridge width is 15,5 m divided between 2 lanes, hard shoulder, foot and cycle path as railings. Furthermore, a supporting wall shall be constructed at Vestrhusberget bridge as well as a prefabricated subway under the E39 and the accompanying road on both sides of the bridge.Awards
