The school is planned to be built over three to four floors with a gross area of approx. 8,300 m2. There is lots of space on the building site which is located in the immediate vicinity of E6. The school must be completed in October 2023, outdoor must be completed in January 2024. The site is currently zoned as a lower secondary school and sports halls, work has begun to rezone and facilitate for a primary school. There are a number of requirements in the area plan for Sofiemyr sports park that must be taken into account. Among other things, this applies to the preparation of the walkway and relocation of access. In the concept selection study the contract cost for a four parallel school is estimated to be approx. NOK 200 million excluding VAT. The contracting authority has chosen an interaction contract as the execution model. The purpose of this procurement is to enter into a contract with an experienced contractor for engineering design and the construction of the buildings.Awards
