The nursing home shall be altered into 'care+' dwellings in accordance with Oslo municipality's concept 'Care+ dwellings'. The area of the site is 4 520 m2 and total gross built up area is 5 456 m2. The existing building was constructed during three periods; 1957, 1973 and 1986. The building shall be constructed as Passive house with Smart house technology and in accordance with TEK 10. The contract type is general contracting and the project is a pilot project for Oslo municipality. Tentative progress is publication of the tender documents, September 2013 and initiation of works at the turn of the year 2013/14 with completion at the turn of the year 2014/15.
