The systems shall sterilise sewage water via temperature and pressure, in accordance with the current EU provisions. Briefly, the system consists of collection tanks, boiling tanks, heat exchangers and a control system. The systems shall fulfil strict requirements for bio-safety (BSL level) and it must be possible to monitor and log the processes in order to ensure continual compliance that the treatment requirements. The system shall be installed at the new Veterinary medicine School at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU), Campus As.
