Dar ingar samordning av aktiviteter riktade till foretagen for att bland annat utveckla produkter och attraktioner som ar branschmassigt, tematiskt eller geografiskt inriktade, aven lansoverskridande sadana. Det regionala turismuppdraget ska vara en katalysator i vidareutvecklingen av den hallbara besoksnaringen och fungera som en lank mellan lokal, regional och nationell niva. Vidare ska genomforaren av uppdraget agera som kontakt gentemot nationella samverkansparter som skoter den internationella marknadsforingen av Sormland samt komma med initiativ och aktiviteter inom besoksnaringsomradet. Tillsammans med foretagen inom besoksnaringen ska det regionala turismuppdraget verka for att na ett okat och forbattrat entreprenorskap, foretagande samt en okad kompetens bland aktorerna i branschen. Aktiviteterna ska utga ifran behov och efterfragan samt leda till ytterligare affarsnytta hos foretagen. Omvarldsinformation och trendspaning ingar i detta. Regionforbundet har tecknat tjanstekontrakt med en leverantor som for Regionforbundets rakning ska verka som operativt ansvarig for det regionala turismuppdraget. For genomforandet av avtalat atagande kommer leverantoren att erhalla ersattning med 4 000 000 SEK/ar.Awards
