The tasks to be outsourced are the following: 1. Information provision 2. Appointment management 3. Application processing (accepting visa applications together with passports and documentation, collecting the visa fee, capturing alphanumeric application and biometric data, etc. 4. Return of applicants' passports at the conclusion of the procedure. The ESP provides the necessary services in the technical and organisational areas in implementation of the different procedural steps and makes the required resources available. In the first phase, "Service provision without electronic data capture (i.e. without biometrics)", the ESP provides the following services: * Information provision * Appointment management (for the Swiss representation abroad and/or the ESP) * Application processing without electronic capture of data or fingerprints or portrait photos. In the second phase, "Service provision with electronic data capture (with or without biometrics)", the ESP provides the following services: * Information provision * Appointment management (for the Swiss representation abroad and/or the ESP) * Application processing with electronic capture of data, including portrait photos but without capture of fingerprints * Application processing with electronic capture of data, including portrait photos and capture of fingerprints. The ESP's services are financed through the service fee (so-called service fee in accordance with Art. 17 of the "Community Code on Visas (Visa Code)" which the applicant settles directly with the ESP. Cooperation with the external service providers (CESP) in the visa procedure is based on the provisions of the Visa Code (Art. 40 para. 3 and Art 43f), on Art. 98b of the Swiss Federal Act on Foreign Nationals (FNA) and Art. 15a of the Swiss Ordinance on Entry and the Granting of Visas (VGO).Adjudicaciones
