Er liegt auf dem Walchwiler Berg auf 1000 m u.M. in der Bergzone II. Fur diese Forschungsstation mussen die Stallungen angepasst werden, damit die Tiere, die im Sommer auf der Alp Weissenstein sind, im Winter auf dem Fruebuel gehalten werden konnen. So sind Anpassungen in den Betriebseinrichtungen notig, um im ehemaligen Kuhstall die Schafe unterzubringen. Zudem braucht es eine Erweiterung des Laufstallbereichs fur die Mutterkuhhaltung und fur die Einrichtung von flexiblen Forschungsplatzen (auch fur Milchkuhe) sowie zur Abdeckung des notigen Gullelagerraums und die Anpassung des Futterlagerraums.Awards
